Our values
“It is important to me to create products that make our lives more beautiful, accompany us for a long time, and conserve our resources in order to preserve them for future generations. Simple design for every living space – ergonomic, universal, functional.”
– Ursula Schreck
Design that connects
At ZAUNKÖNIG®, we design high-quality, handcrafted furniture and accessories for children that are so versatile they stay with us for a lifetime. Products that are elegant, multifunctional, and timeless – and therefore sustainable. Products that naturally bridge the worlds of parents and children, and are durable enough to perhaps even make the leap to the next generation. Products that harmonize natural materials with a regional focus. Products that not only look good, but also delight all the other senses. To achieve this, we rely on artisanal principles, renewable raw materials, and a universal design language.
No matter what you're planning, it's better together!
Why We Do What We Do
We do what we do because we believe in a future where we treat ourselves and our environment with mindfulness. In a world where adults and children meet as equals. In a world where we own fewer things and yet feel richly gifted. In a life that continues to provide an abundance of sensory experiences for our children.
High-quality design for little explorers who don't want to miss a thing. For parents who want to truly enjoy the time spent with their children. For a lifetime.
