The ZAUNKÖNIG® Learning Tower combines three functions in one beautifully designed piece of furniture. Designed as a reversible piece, the ZAUNKÖNIG® allows children to stand and sit at an elevated level. When laid flat, it becomes a creative play object and a bench that can be used by all generations. The ZAUNKÖNIG®'s versatility has earned it the Universal Design Award. Its design is unique on the market and even patented.
Learning tower
Inspired by the most famous principle of Montessori education, "Help me to do it myself," our ZAUNKÖNIG® is a high-quality learning tower made of solid oak: for participating, observing, learning, and being at eye level. Secured by high backrests, even the youngest children are well protected. Older children can climb in and out independently via the open sides. It can be used freestanding or positioned next to a work surface. This way, your children are safely involved in everything the adults do. And you can go through your daily life with complete peace of mind.
High chair
Rotate the learning tower 180 degrees to transform it into a classic high chair without any modifications. It features exceptionally high-quality craftsmanship and, thanks to its own weight, offers excellent stability even without wide base. A favorite spot for your children—with a safety guard to prevent falls, even for the youngest ones. Optionally available with a tray for eating, drawing, and playing. The foldable cushion made of wool felt or cotton serves as a backrest and can be removed as your child grows to provide more space.
Play furniture & bench
A secret pirate’s den, a ship on the high seas, or a mini chaise longue? When placed on its side, our learning tower becomes a cozy bench or a piece of play furniture that grows with your child—a place where kids can climb, hide, or simply relax. It can also be used by adults as a storage unit, footstool, or bench.
